Billy Wilder and Hepburn again, this time a chauffeur's daughter transformed by Paris into someone two rich brothers want. Same Cinderella shape, sharper Wilder wit underneath the gloss.

But The love-triangle plotting is creaky, and Bogart looks visibly uncomfortable playing romantic lead.

The Apartment1960

Same city, same year almost, same bittersweet comic tone — lonely New Yorkers in cramped apartments trying to hold onto some self-respect while falling for the wrong person.

But Bleaker moral stakes and office-cynicism satire that's aged differently than glamorous Fifth Avenue window shopping.
