We tried an ad network for a day. It redirected a reader to a scam site without them clicking anything, so we removed it. Somebody has to pay for this, and we would rather it was readers than whoever bids highest for your attention.

What you watched, how it changed across the year, and how it compares with the people you watch with — built from the ratings you have already given rather than a new thing to maintain.
Better filters
Where to watch it, filtered to the services you actually pay for, so the answer is what you can watch tonight rather than what exists.
A say in what gets written
The catalogue grows one title at a time. VIPs get to push something to the front of that queue.
What stays free, permanently
Tracking, rating, watchlists, friends, watch partners and every recommendation on the site. Nobody in this category gates the core loop and neither will we — a ratings site whose ratings are behind a paywall is not a ratings site.
