Jiro Dreams of Sushi

An intimate, almost meditative portrait of Jiro Ono, the octogenarian sushi master behind a ten-seat Tokyo restaurant with three Michelin stars. It's less a food film than a study in obsession — repetition as devotion, decades spent perfecting rice temperature. Beautifully shot, quietly paced, and as much about fathers and sons as fish. For anyone who likes their documentaries calm, precise, and a little melancholy.

Watch it if you love films about craft and obsession, where watching a person refine one small thing over decades feels like its own kind of drama, and you'll happily sit with the quiet hum of a kitchen.
