But The dialogue moves so fast it can feel like trying to catch a train, and 1940s gender dynamics haven't aged gracefully.

A documentary that starts as a sweet online romance and turns into something much stranger and sadder — a real-life reminder of what's actually at stake when you fall for a voice on a screen.

But It's uncomfortable, occasionally exploitative-feeling, and offers none of the warmth or resolution the comedy version promises.
