Skip it if the pace is deliberate to the point of stillness, and at 160 minutes with long stretches of brooding, restless viewers may drift.

What it asks of you: Expect a long, unhurried run of wide shots and hushed exchanges, where mood carries the storytelling and patience pays more than plot does.
