Slapstick
Slapstick is comedy that lives in the body: a banana peel, a collapsing set, a pratfall that somehow lands perfectly on the beat. These stories trust physical chaos to say what dialogue can't, so the jokes arrive before you've had time to brace for them. Expect plenty of bruised dignity, and a surprising amount of tenderness underneath the bumps.
