Slasher
A slasher is the horror film where the danger is a relentless figure who never tires and never quite dies, stalking a group of teenagers who made one careless choice too many. You know the rhythm before it starts: a summer weekend, a locked-up past, a party that should have ended hours ago. The fun is in the waiting, the jump, and the grim little joke at the end of each kill.
