Gross-out comedy
Gross-out comedy is the kind of funny that makes you groan and laugh at the same time, usually because someone has decided the bodily, the embarrassing and the frankly disgusting are fair game for a joke. It thrives on bad taste pushed just far enough that you feel a little guilty for enjoying it. Expect bathroom humour, mouths that say the unsayable, and an audience that is probably slightly horrified and having a great time.
