Watch it if you like slow-burn chamber thrillers where the dread lives in polite conversation, and you enjoy a host whose warmth keeps curdling into something you cannot name until it is too late to leave.

Skip it if you want the scares to arrive on schedule, since this one spends most of its hour and a half at a dinner table, letting unease build through small talk, glances and wine.

What it asks of you: Patience first: it is a single evening in one house, mostly talk, with tension tightening gradually rather than in bursts, so you need to be willing to sit with ambiguity.
