The Great Muppet Caper

Trouble in Paradise1932
Same bones as Caper: thieves, romance, a wealthy target, wit masking the crime, just decades earlier and dressed in pre-Code sophistication instead of felt.
The film that basically invented the charming-crooks-in-love-while-robbing-the-rich formula, with dialogue so sharp it still crackles nearly a century later.
But Black-and-white, 1930s manners and pacing, zero puppets or songs, might feel like homework to some.

But Foul-mouthed, violent and cynical where Caper is sweet, definitely not one for the family couch.

A tender, clip-stuffed documentary tracing Henson's whole creative life, revealing the ambition and quiet melancholy behind the puppetry that makes Caper's jokes land so warmly.
But No caper, no jokes really, it's reflective biography rather than playful comedy, a real tonal shift.
