But Nearly fifty years old and it shows, stagey monologues and a slower burn than modern satire tends to allow.

Soapy, breathless, and built around a brilliant woman doing morally indefensible things for people who don't deserve her loyalty. Rachel Goldberg energy, but Washington-DC flavored and turned up to eleven.

But Far pulpier and more implausible than UnREAL, less interested in workplace mechanics than pure melodramatic momentum.

A whip-smart, darkly funny docudrama about a woman turned into tabloid spectacle by a media machine that needed a villain more than it needed the truth. Rachel's job, seen from the other side of the camera.

But Based on a real person's real trauma and played partly for laughs; some will find that uncomfortable rather than cathartic.

The genuine article: a heavily produced show that's nominally unscripted, where cast members openly discuss being pushed into storylines by producers. Watching it after UnREAL is like seeing the trick and the reveal at once.

But It's actual reality television, not drama, shallow and repetitive, and it asks you to care about people whose job is performing conflict.
