But Real grief, real injustice, and no clean courtroom bow — the case doesn't resolve the way fiction lets it.

The exact same trick — era-specific music, cross-cut flashbacks unlocking a buried truth — pointed at family secrets instead of murder, with just as many tears engineered per episode.

But Pure melodrama with no mystery to solve, and the sentimentality Cold Case doles out weekly runs here continuously.
