Wanted
A nerdy office worker discovers he's the son of a legendary assassin and joins a secret society of killers who curve bullets and take orders from Fate itself. Wanted is a lurid, wildly entertaining power fantasy that doesn't care about plausibility—it's pure adrenaline and visual excess. For anyone who wants to watch an ordinary person become extraordinary through sheer cool-factor wish fulfillment.
Should you watch it?
Watch it if you enjoy a mild-mannered hero's rough transformation told as lurid spectacle, where bullets bend around corners and you don't mind a movie that winks at its own excess more than it worries about logic.
Skip it if the logic is loose enough to fall through, and if you need the story to hold together under scrutiny, its mythology will frustrate you more than thrill you.
What it asks of you: A brisk hundred and ten minutes that rarely pauses; it runs loud, fast and unfussy about violence, with little room for quiet.
Not sure? Find tonight's pick in a minute.
