Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger THE MOVIE: Full Blast Action
- Superhero
- Alien contact
- Crime
- Relentless
Dekaranger is a Japanese special effects action film where a elite police force in futuristic armor battles alien criminals across Earth and space. It's pure spectacle—explosions, giant robots, colour-coded teamwork, and earnest heroism that never winks at the camera. Made for fans of tokusatsu (live-action effects cinema) but wildly entertaining if you're new to the form and just want to watch beautiful people in impossible costumes save the world.
Should you watch it?
Watch it if you have a soft spot for bright, bombastic Super Sentai battles and want a quick, colorful hit of costumed teamwork with no homework required.
Skip it if you need a story that holds together across its running time, since at under forty minutes the plot is a sketch and fights do most of the talking.
What it asks of you: Brisk and loud, about 39 minutes that rarely pause, so it fits into a lunch break and wants only that you stay with the noise.
