Swallowtail Butterfly
Swallowtail Butterfly is a stylish, audacious genre-collider about young immigrants and drifters trying to survive in a futuristic Japanese underworld. Director Seijun Suzuki fuses crime drama with science fiction and pop music into something wholly strange and gorgeous. It's for people who want cinema that refuses easy categories and rewards your full attention.
