Nastya and Egor

A half-hour documentary capturing the Sverdlovsk rock scene in the late 1980s, centered on the band Nastya and its members Nastya Poleva and Egor Belkin. Shot by Aleksei Balabanov between 1985 and 1990, it's a raw glimpse of Soviet underground music culture at a pivotal moment, featuring local legends and the raw energy of a scene about to explode into the post-Soviet era.
