Heroic Trio 2: Executioners

A post-nuclear Hong Kong action-comedy where three superpowered women—each with distinct abilities and personalities—battle a malevolent genius controlling the government and water supply. It's visually inventive, tonally uneven, and gloriously committed to its own absurdity. For anyone who wants 90s action cinema at its most unrestrained and gleefully weird.

Should you watch it?

Watch it if you love giddy Hong Kong genre mash-ups where wire-fu, deadpan jokes and a sci-fi conspiracy share the same breathless energy, and you don't mind a plot that cheerfully outruns its logic.

Skip it if you want a tight, serious thriller, since this is loud, scattershot and happy to swap tonal gears mid-scene, with its jokes and slapstick often undercutting the stakes.

What it asks of you: Expect a brisk, under-two-hour run with frequent cuts between brawling, gags and gadget-laden chaos, and enough attention to keep a loose plot straight without much rest.
