Yakumo Oomori

Introduced within Tokyo Ghoul's world of ghouls and investigators, Yakumo Oomori enters as a figure defined by the series' central tension: the divide between human and ghoul, hunter and hunted. He carries himself with the wary self-possession common to characters navigating Tokyo's dangerous underlayer, more watchful than forthcoming about his intentions.

Rintarou Nishi brings a controlled, understated quality to the role, letting silence and posture do work that dialogue doesn't.
