William Pierce, Jr.

William Pierce, Jr. is a teenager the BSU team comes to interview after his baby half-brother drowns under murky circumstances. He answers questions in a flat, watchful voice from his dim bedroom, more interested in his pet snake than in grief, giving nothing away and asking for nothing.

Filipowich plays him with an eerie stillness that never tips into cartoon menace — just a kid so guarded and affectless that ordinary questions start to feel loaded. The scene works because the show trusts silence and a blank stare to do what dialogue usually does, letting the audience's unease build without a single overt threat.
