Warren Keffer

Warren Keffer is one of Babylon 5's Starfury pilots, flying patrol and escort duty out of the station's fighter bays. Confident and quick with a joke, he's the kind of young officer who treats the cockpit as home and regulations as suggestions, more interested in flying well than in rank or politics.

Robert Rusler plays him with an easy, unforced charm that makes the fighter-pilot banter feel lived-in rather than written. The show uses him to put a human face on the war machinery around the station, and his restless curiosity about what he sees out in the black gives an ordinary pilot real narrative weight.
