Toran Mallow

Toran Mallow is a Foundation trader on Terminus generations after Hari Seldon's death, a quick-witted operator more comfortable bending rules than following them. Charming and self-assured, he gets pulled into the Foundation's dealings with the wider galaxy, including a mission that puts him close to the Empire's political games and to a woman named Sareth.

Cody Fern plays him with a rogue's ease that never curdles into smugness — you believe he's smart enough to talk his way out of anything, which makes it interesting when the show puts him somewhere talk won't work. He's the show's reminder that Seldon's grand plan is still executed by ordinary, flawed people improvising.
