Ted Gunn

Ted Gunn arrives at the Behavioral Science Unit as its new overseer, and everything about him signals ambition on a scale the team hasn't dealt with before. Polished, unhurried, and quietly political, he wants the unit expanded, funded, and taken seriously by Washington — and he expects Holden, Bill, and Wendy to help him get there.

Michael Cerveris plays Gunn with a bureaucrat's stillness that never quite hides the hunger underneath — he's a company man who has found a genuinely visionary cause and means to ride it. The character works because he's neither villain nor mentor, just institutional momentum given a calm, well-tailored face.
