Taylor Blaine

Taylor Blaine is a scholarship student at a private school in Indianapolis, quieter and more guarded than his wealthier classmates. He wants to belong, or at least to be left alone, and carries himself with a kind of careful self-containment — until photos from a party turn his private humiliation into something the whole school is talking about.

Connor Jessup plays Taylor as someone perpetually bracing for impact, all clenched jaw and lowered eyes, which makes the character's slow unraveling feel inevitable rather than melodramatic. The show refuses to simplify him into pure victim or villain, and Jessup holds that ambiguity with a stillness that's genuinely unsettling to watch.
