Tanya Clifton

Tanya Clifton works as one of the research assistants brought in to help code and organize the mountain of data the BSU's serial killer interviews are generating. She's sharp, methodical, and a little wary of the material she's handling, doing careful academic work in the shadow of very dark subject matter.

Mindhunter is a show about the unglamorous mechanics of building a science out of horror, and Tanya is part of that unglamorous machinery — the person actually sorting the index cards. Sierra A. McClain plays her with quiet competence, a reminder that the show's real subject is process, not profilers with catchphrases.
