Ryouko Fueguchi

Ryouko Fueguchi appears through memory, a mother doing her best to hold a fragile household together. Gentle and quietly worn down, she tends to her children with warmth even as she carries burdens she keeps from them, trying to give them something like an ordinary life despite everything working against it.

Orikasa gives her a softness that never tips into weakness, so the character reads as tired rather than fragile. The show uses her sparingly, letting small domestic gestures carry enormous weight, which makes her feel real precisely because we see her only through the loving, imperfect memory of her children.
