Rudith Lillian "Rudy" Huxtable

Rudy is the youngest of the Huxtable children, a sharp-tongued kindergartner with more confidence than kids twice her age. She holds her own at the family table, dishes out opinions nobody asked for, and treats her towering father and siblings as equals to be teased, corrected, and occasionally outsmarted.

The writing trusts a small child to be funny on her own terms rather than cute by default, and Pulliam delivers deadpan lines with the timing of a seasoned comic. Her scenes with Cosby crackle because she never plays down to him — she plays straight through him, and it works.
