Okiku

Okiku enters the story as a near-silent gunslinger who attaches herself to Afro's blood-soaked quest, saying little and explaining less. She fights with cold, economical precision, dual pistols drawn before anyone else registers danger, and seems to know more about Afro's world than she lets on.

The character leans entirely on presence rather than dialogue, and Kelly Hu's clipped, unhurried line readings make Okiku's silences feel loaded rather than empty. In a show built on hyper-verbal bravado and stylized carnage, her stillness is the most dangerous thing on screen — you watch her because you're waiting to find out what she isn't saying.
