Nwabudike "Bud" Bergstein

Bud is Sol and Frankie's son, the steadier of their two boys, a lawyer with a dry wit and a low tolerance for chaos. When his parents' marriages implode on the same day, he's the one trying to keep some sense of order, rolling his eyes at the absurdity while quietly absorbing the shock.

Baron Vaughn plays Bud as the family's designated adult, and that role gives the show a grounded pair of eyes through which to view its parents' late-in-life upheaval. His deadpan exasperation is funny precisely because it's restrained — he's the son trying to stay reasonable while everyone around him gets to be dramatic.
