Number Two

Leoben Conoy is a Cylon, one of the Twelve models, captured aboard Galactica and interrogated as a possible saboteur. He is unnervingly serene under pressure, speaking in riddles about destiny, God, and prophecy rather than answering questions directly, and he seems to already know things about the people questioning him that he shouldn't.

Callum Keith Rennie plays him without a flicker of the villain's smirk you'd expect — just patient, gentle certainty, which is far more disquieting. The writing uses him to introduce the show's religious undercurrent early, and his calm insistence on fate over fear makes every scene with him feel like a trap you can't quite locate.
