She appears first as a striking woman in a red dress on Caprica, charming and precise, drawing scientist Gaius Baltar into her bed and, through him, into a betrayal he does not understand he is committing. She speaks of God and destiny with unsettling calm. Then the bombs fall, and it becomes clear what she really is.

Tricia Helfer plays her as pure surface at first — glamour, appetite, control — which makes the reveal land like a blade: a weapon that looks like desire. The writing uses her to ask what faith and love mean coming from something built rather than born, and Helfer never lets you settle on an answer.
