Nadine turns up in Jonny Briggs's world as one of the schoolyard faces he has to contend with — quick with an opinion, unbothered by his schemes, and never quite as easy to win over or outmanoeuvre as he'd like. She holds her own in a playground pecking order built on dares and one-upmanship.

Abigail Fisher plays her with a flat, unimpressed confidence that cuts through Jonny's bluster, giving the show a useful counterweight whenever his plans get too pleased with themselves. It's a small role built on timing rather than incident, and Fisher makes the most of that timing.
