Mr Farouk

Mr Farouk teaches at Truham and quickly becomes more than just another staff member to Charlie and his friends. Warm, watchful and quietly funny, he notices the things other adults miss, and offers steady, unshowy support to students navigating things they can't yet say out loud.

Heartstopper is generous with its teenagers but stingy with adult role models who actually help, which is why Farouk matters so much. Nima Taleghani plays him with easy warmth rather than saintly wisdom, so his support never feels like a lesson — just one person choosing to show up.
