Mindy Clarice Kominsky

Mindy is Sandy Kominsky's grown daughter, the one who actually keeps his life running while he holds court as the great acting guru. She's practical, dry, quick to call out her father's self-mythologizing, and clearly used to being the adult in the room despite being the child in the relationship.

Sarah Baker plays Mindy with a rolled-eyes patience that never curdles into resentment — she loves her father exactly as much as she's exhausted by him, and the show lets that contradiction sit without resolving it. She's the show's reality check, funny precisely because she refuses to perform.
