Maj. Howard "Bunny" Colvin

Colvin commands the Western District with the weary clarity of a man near the end of a long career. He watches the drug war chew up corners and kids alike and starts to wonder, out loud and then in practice, whether the whole approach is simply wrong. Gruff, plainspoken, unafraid of his bosses.

Wisdom plays him without a trace of cynicism dressed up as wisdom — Colvin's disillusionment feels earned, not performed, which makes his willingness to break the rules land as genuine moral reasoning rather than eccentricity. He's the rare authority figure the show lets be both compromised by the system and quietly right about it.
