Magnus Nielsen

Magnus Nielsen is a teenager in the small German town of Winden, the son of police officer Ulrich and the older brother of Martha and Mikkel. He drifts through school and small-town boredom with a smirking, unbothered ease, more interested in girls and status than in the anxieties consuming the adults around him.

Moritz Jahn plays Magnus with an unhurried teenage swagger that makes him feel ordinary against Dark's mounting dread, a normal kid caught in a family and a town that are anything but. That contrast is the point: his casualness lets the show's uncanny undertow creep in almost unnoticed.
