Londo Mollari

Londo Mollari is the Centauri ambassador to Babylon 5, a diplomat from a once-great empire now in decline, and he plays it for laughs at first: vain, theatrical, fond of drink and gambling and the sound of his own stories. He wants his people's lost glory restored, and watches for any chance to hurry that along.

Jurasik plays the comedy of a blustering, self-mocking has-been so well that the slow reveal of ambition underneath lands like a gut punch. The writing gives him genuine wit and warmth before it asks harder questions of him, and Jurasik never lets you forget the man was likable first.
