Logan Huntzberger

Logan arrives at Yale as a Life and Death Brigade prince — rich, confident, and openly bored by consequence. He flirts with Rory like it's a game he's already won, running with a fast crowd of trust-fund provocateurs. Underneath the smirk is someone used to charm working, and to nobody expecting more of him than a good time.

Matt Czuchry plays privilege as a performance the character is still deciding whether to believe in himself, letting flashes of real feeling slip through the practiced ease. Against Rory's earnestness he supplies friction the show badly needed at that point — someone whose worldview isn't hers, and doesn't apologize for it.
