Lennier

Lennier arrives on Babylon 5 as Ambassador Delenn's aide, a young Minbari of quiet formality and unwavering devotion to duty. He is earnest to a fault, still working out human idiom and humor, and treats his service to Delenn as something closer to a sacred calling than a job.

Bill Mumy plays him with a stillness that makes small gestures land hard, and the writing uses his politeness as camouflage for a private, aching sincerity. He's the show's gentlest character, which makes his devotion to Delenn quietly moving rather than comic relief, even when the humor is real.
