Lee "Apollo" Adama

Lee Adama is Galactica's CAG, a talented Viper pilot uneasy in his own skin. Son of the Commander, he carries the weight of that name without wanting the privilege it implies. Principled to a fault, he bristles at compromise and political maneuvering, and finds himself caught between loyalty to his father and his own sense of what's right.

Jamie Bamber plays Apollo as a man arguing with himself in every scene—dutiful son, reluctant hero, moral conscience of a fleet that keeps asking him to bend. The writing refuses to let his idealism be simple; it costs him relationships, certainty, even his career. Bamber makes that friction feel lived-in rather than performed.
