Kevin LaCroix

Kevin LaCroix is a young Black man on the edge of a wealthy white family's orbit in American Crime's third season, drawn into a relationship with the daughter of the household his mother works for. He's charming, watchful, and quietly aware of exactly how precarious his welcome is.

Trevor Jackson plays Kevin with a controlled warmth that never fully hides the calculation underneath — he has to read every room he enters. The show uses him to expose the unspoken racial and economic fault lines of a 'nice' family, and Jackson makes that tension visible without ever tipping into melodrama.
