John Bosworth

John Bosworth runs the floor at Cardiff Electric, a Texas business-machines outfit that mostly sells to men who already know what they want. He's folksy, sharp-elbowed, and suspicious of the slick outsider who's just arrived promising to reinvent the company. He likes things the way they are, and he's not shy about saying so.

Toby Huss plays him as a good-old-boy who turns out to have more going on than the boots and drawl suggest — funny, stubborn, and unexpectedly adaptable once he decides a fight is worth having. The show keeps letting him surprise you, and Huss makes every recalibration feel earned rather than written in.
