Jinny

Jinny is part of the world around Jonny Briggs in this family sitcom, a schoolyard fixture whose presence adds another wrinkle to Jonny's already chaotic home and social life. She turns up with opinions, has little patience for nonsense, and gets pulled into whatever scheme Jonny has going that week.

Adele Parry plays her with the dry, unimpressed energy that every good child sitcom needs somewhere in its cast — someone to puncture the lead's schemes without ever losing the warmth of the show. It's a small role built on timing rather than incident, and she makes the most of it.
