Jesse

Jesse is one of the local teenagers pulled into Prairie Johnson's strange nightly gatherings in an abandoned house, drawn less by belief than by boredom and curiosity. He hangs at the edges of the group, guarded and a little lost, unsure whether to trust this stranger's impossible story but unwilling to walk away from it.

Brendan Meyer plays Jesse as someone half-embarrassed to be there, which makes his gradual investment feel earned rather than scripted. The show doesn't over-explain him, and Meyer fills the gaps with small, wary reactions that suggest a kid testing whether it's safe to want something strange to be true.
