Jeffrey Sinclair

Sinclair commands Babylon 5, the last of the great diplomatic stations, holding together a fragile peace between humans and alien powers. A decorated war veteran with a gap in his memory from the Battle of the Line, he is watchful, principled, and quietly burdened, more comfortable weighing consequences than issuing orders.

O'Hare plays him with a careful, almost wounded gravity, a soldier trying to be a diplomat and never quite trusting the fit. The writing keeps hinting that his missing memories matter more than anyone admits, and that unease under his composure makes him feel like a man standing on ground that hasn't finished shifting.
