Jason Stiles

Jason Stiles is a sharp, needling corporate lawyer who reenters Lorelai's life as a face from her debutante past and, awkwardly, as a professional rival to her father Richard. He's witty and self-assured, courts Lorelai with a mix of charm and provocation, and seems to enjoy the friction his presence causes at the Gilmore dinner table.

Chris Eigeman plays him with a dry, needling wit that never quite tips into villainy, which makes him genuinely hard to place as friend or threat. The show uses him to pull at the Gilmore family's careful class alliances, and Eigeman's clipped delivery makes every barbed line land with unsettling ease.
