Hinami Fueguchi

Hinami is a quiet, gentle ghoul girl who loves books and reading, more bookish student than predator. Introduced through Kaneki's eyes at Anteiku, she is shy, polite, and clearly protected by the people around her, still learning to survive in a world that has already cost her a great deal.

Sumire Morohoshi gives her a softness that makes the show's cruelty land harder — she's the character the plot keeps testing to prove how bad things can get. Her bond with Kaneki, built over shared stories and small kindnesses, gives Tokyo Ghoul its clearest emotional throughline.
