Hector Tontz

Hector Tontz moves through the world of undocumented farm labor as a fixer and enforcer, the man who brings workers across and keeps them working under threat. He's guarded and hard-edged on the surface, but there's a visible strain underneath — someone doing dirty work inside a system he didn't build and can't easily leave.

Richard Cabral plays Hector without asking for sympathy outright, letting small hesitations and flickers of guilt do the work instead of speeches. The writing keeps him morally murky rather than villainous, a cog who still has to look people in the eye, and Cabral makes that discomfort feel lived-in rather than performed.
