Gordo Stevens

Gordon Stevens is a hotshot astronaut in NASA's early space program, the kind of pilot who flew fighter jets and expects the sky, or now the moon, to still belong to men like him. He's cocky, competitive, and stung when the Soviets beat America to the lunar surface — his pride as bruised as his ambition.

Michael Dorman plays the swagger straight at first, all flight-suit bravado, then lets the cracks show as the show slowly strips away Gordo's certainties about what kind of hero he's supposed to be. It's a performance built on erosion — charm curdling into something more fragile and human underneath.
