G'Kar

G'Kar is the Narn ambassador on Babylon 5, all coiled menace and theatrical grievance, still nursing his people's occupation by the Centauri. He schemes, postures, and delights in needling his Centauri counterpart, playing the villain's role with relish while insisting, underneath the bombast, that his cause is just.

Katsulas gives G'Kar a reptilian stillness that can snap into fury or, later, something like grace, and the writing trusts him with a genuinely long arc rather than a fixed label. What starts as a growling stock antagonist deepens scene by scene into a man capable of real moral change, and Katsulas makes every stage of that transformation feel earned.
