Franziska Doppler

Franziska Doppler is a teenager in the small town of Winden, the younger daughter of police chief Charlotte Doppler and sister to Elisabeth. She drifts through school and family routine, drawn into a budding romance with Magnus Nielsen, mostly unaware that the disappearances rattling the town will soon pull her into something far stranger.

She grounds Dark's cosmic puzzle in something plainly recognizable: a girl figuring out first love while her parents' work quietly encroaches on her world. Gina Alice Stiebitz plays her with an unforced, watchful naturalism, so that when the show's uncanny logic starts reaching into her ordinary life, the dissonance actually lands.
